Iceberg lettuce & me


To me iceberg lettuce is special. It's crisp, cool and clean. And affordable. There is nothing better than a wedge of it with some blue cheese dressing on top. This to me is heaven. The NYT's expounds its beauty too in the accompanying article. Mesclun is ok once in a while, but I think I am going back to my roots of the 60's-70's and revisiting the old standby.
