Eileen Fisher

Ok, now that I am turning 65 (it hurts to say it) I have turned a corner on fashion.  Gone are the days when the tight clothes worked.  Sags, bags and tummies have taken over and need to create an illusion.  There is nothing worse than seeing um, excuse the cliche, a mutton in lambs garb.  That being said, I am looking more towards the forgiving garments.  Something that I don't want to tear off when I step in my door.  There are pants and skirts that have forgiving waistlines.  Eileen Fisher dedicates her whole line to this issue. Mystery!  Take a peek at her blog too.  It's cool and written just for us.  Draping yay, Clinging nay.

Check out her tipsters.  We are them, and they are us.

Note the waists.  These styles are ageless, and if you want to pump it up add the short boots, a very cool look no matter what your age.  These are available at all departments stores as well as Nordtrom's Rack and Marshall's and TJ's, but rather hit or miss on the latter ones.
