New York City Food some suggestions

I just scribbled some ideas out for a coworker and then thought to myself, hmm why don't I post it...

Just my thoughts on some eating.  And if you are going to NYC, you've got to imbibe.

Greenwich Village/Soho

This place is renowned for its croissants, in case you need a break (you will) in the afternoon.

Downtown near the Flat Iron District

https://www.eataly.com/us_en/stores/new-york/   Lunch at Eataly – this place is overwhelming

http://www.thehighline.org/  nice walk after lunch at Eataly

http://www.neuegalerie.org/cafes/sabarsky  - gorgeous gallery that serves lunch as well as now showing Munch exhibit…I’ve only been there for lunch…charming German place across from The Met.

http://www.kimberlyhotel.com/default.aspx?pg=bistango   Bistango at The Kimberly Hotel for dinner– the Kimberly also has a roof top deck.  I thought the food was great here – it’s near the Waldorf.

http://www.theplazany.com/dining/foodhall/   The Food Hall in The Plaza Hotel, simple and easy afterwards you can take a walk in Central park

Theater District
http://www.scarlattonyc.com/media/scarlatto.html   I’ve always loved this place…reservations are a must.  Do not sit at the bar.  Table services is a ballet for little $$$

http://www.tripadvisor.com/Restaurant_Review-g60763-d459127-Reviews-Maria_Pia-New_York_City_New_York.html   Maria Pia good place if you are going to theater…they get it that you are in a rush.

Finally, if you've got hoards of people, you can all go in on this place...I wish I could think of 12 people. Wedding party possibly?  $1200 per night...
